Girls trip 2013

2 years ago we took a girls trip. 4 of us. This year we added 6 for a total of 10 and it was so much fun! I was afraid that we'd come home hating each other (ha!) but we are all still friends! :) I can't believe we skipped a year but I think the general consensus was to never let that happen again!

We left Thursday afternoon and got home today. Needed another day!! We relaxed, ate and relaxed some more! Just what we needed/wanted! Can't wait til the next one. And I'm on pins and needles waiting to see my Olivia. 5 pm tmrw cannot get here fast enough. I talked to her this afternoon and it made me miss her more!

Weddings, ballet, zoo

Our first favorite babysitter got married Saturday. We both LOVE Brooke and wish her a lifetime of happiness! O was excited to go to the wedding since that's her fav game to play! Too bad she wasn't in a pic taking mood.


After that we went to the ballet under the stars at kiroli park. So much fun!











Sunday we had lunch in Monroe with courtney and her mom. Then home to chill.


Monday evening we went and cheered on Hudson, Reynolds and Luke in their first tball game. They were precious!


And today was o's field trip to the zoo. I was so sad I couldn't go but her daddy went with her and from all accounts a good time was had.

The boy...

He got me this time. Talk abt stepping up your game. I can count on one hand how many times I've received flowers in my life (from people other than my parents) and 1/2 if not the majority have come from the boy. Now, that may be my fault since i tell people not to buy me flowers. They die. Total waste of money. But dang it feels so good to receive them so I'm glad he chose not to listen to me! He's a keeper.


And the best part is that they came for the perfect reason. And that would be no reason at all. :)

Spring has sprung.

Facebook came up with national sibling day and orange leaf offered buy one get one. So jenny went and picked o up from school and I met them there for an after work/school treat.

And this girl got registered for pre-k today. I may have teared up just a tiny bit while waiting in line. Not bc I was sad but bc this time has just flown by. I feel like she was born yesterday. Makes me want to stop time, bottle her up and never allow her to grow up. So tonight we ate on a pallet on the floor and she sat in my lap and we watched my little ponies for way too long. I couldn't help it!

Easter 2013

Can't believe I'm posting so late! Friday we headed to Winnsboro. We played outside and hung out with gg and pops. O put out the "magic jelly beans".





Saturday morning we got to see what happened to the jelly beans. They turned into eggs!





Then the 'boro Easter bunny visited.


And then we celebrated Easter with family and friends.








The post office museum has a blue dog exhibit right now so o and I went with wade to see it. We had it all to ourselves!








The real Easter bunny visited o at her day's first and then made a stop by my house. And then o went to church with me and then back to her dad.

















Matt and I visited his family Sunday afternoon and then had our 2nd annual Coney Island crawfish Easter date. That's something we're gonna have to keep doing! It was a great weekend!!
