Pumpkin patch field trip

I was able to join O and her class at the pumpkin patch today! LOVE, LOVE having a boss that will allow me to attend her school functions. I don't want to miss anything!

Mrs. Kim read a story about pumpkins.

Then a snack.

Found her perfect pumpkin.

And then it was time to get back on the bus! Such a fun morning!

Proud.

Friday night the boy and I met the Cramer's at the Dixie for an 80s concert. We really enjoyed it!

But the real fun was Saturday. This game has been a long time coming. Tech was ranked # 23 and A&M was ranked # 22. It started off ugly. We basically spotted them 21 points. But, this is why I'm a bulldog. They don't quit. They don't give up. They leave EVERYTHING they've got on the field. They make me proud to hold up my finger for the alma mater after every game. After starting down by 21 we came back and unfortunately lost 57-59. WHAT A GAME. it goes down in my book as the best sporting event I've ever witnessed in person. I'm so glad we toughed out the late night and didn't leave until every player had left the field. They left it all out there for us and we felt we owed them the same.

Almost.

Pre game bark circle. If you've never seen it get there early enough next week. It's fun to watch live, not just on YouTube.

Game time.

Halftime.

At the end. So worth getting in bed at 3:15 this morning. I sincerely hope the "casual fan" saw what I saw last night. And I hope they enjoyed it as much as I did. And I hope they know how special it was to be a part of it. And I hope their butts are at Joe Aillet next weekend. And I hope they buy season tickets next year. And then I know they'll realize what I've known for almost 32 years. #wearelatech.

Love those dawgs! Jenny, o and I headed to the hill about 11 am. No since in wasting good tailgating time!

It was much colder than what I'd thought it was going to be!

She got pretty tired about the time we headed down to watch the band.

But definitely perked up right after kickoff and was doing some serious cheering!

O was pretty awesome all day! Love that skipping nap is an option now. Some days! The dawgs kicked some UNLV bootay. 5-0. And ranked #23 in the nation! It's a great time to be a bulldawg!

Community workers week at school

This is community workers week at o's school. Yesterday was a big day! They visited the fire station and then a police man brought his dog to the school. Of course the pre-k teacher of all pre-k teachers took pics for me!

Ready for the day!

She got to deliver the thank you card!

Class photo!

Crawling through the smoke. My girl knows better than to do that in a dress. Lol!!

Showing her badge. Look at that face!

Petting the drug dog!

I can't wait to hear her stories!

Much a'do about nothing.

We really haven't been up to much but I don't like to go too long between posts. :)

Baby girl actually slept at school last Wednesday. This is a rarity.

At brintley's bday party on sat. Dress up. This girl was in heaven.

Pulling for the dawgs at the dawghouse Saturday afternoon. 4-0!! First time since 1975!

Before choir practice Sunday. She loved her hello kitty shirt.

He's going to kill me. The boy has been in Montana all weekend for a pearl jam concert. He thinks Eddie veddar walked on water. I'm so glad he got to go. Don't you love that flannel? He rocked it!

Glad to see my baby!

Since I got back late Saturday night o's dad kept her overnight. I woke up about 8:45 and was there picking her up by 9:15. I told her I had presents for her and she asked if they were big with bows! Greedy, much?!? I brought her a t-shirt and the book "Goodnight Chicago".

We lunched at Johnny's and then headed to the park to meet the Willefords.

Yes, she did wear her cheerleader suit to both lunch and the park.

These kids went through an entire loaf of bread in about 3 minutes.

After naps (for both of us) it was time for choir at church. I convinced her the cheerleader suit was dirty so she settled for her best pearls.

Glad to have her home!!
