Birthday party fun

O's social calendar revolves around birthday parties. This weekend Harper turned two! Emery did a fab job on the party and o LOVED the photo booth props!

Dr Seuss week(s)

LPECC celebrates dr Seuss week for 2 weeks! We started with red/white day which o refused to take a pic for. But she looked cute in her white skinny jeans and red shirt!

Then wacky Wednesday. My aunt made this dress for o for her second bday party and it has come in handy over the years!

That Friday was hat day. She told me she wore her Minnie Mouse ears bc it was just a regular hat day not a crazy hat day. Glad she clarified for me...

The next week started with crazy socks. We made a special trip to target for these gems. She assured me that no one else had giraffes on their socks.

Then pj Wednesday.

And fav character Friday. We borrowed this costume from a friend for the 2nd year in a row.

She enjoyed the weeks. Her class ate green eggs and ham one day which she assured me were awesome. Fun times at LPECC!

Circus time

This was o's first year to go to the circus. And I hadn't been since I was young so I didn't really know what to expect. Jenny and jackie went with us.

I was so proud of her for hopping on that elephant like it was no big deal! A few things to note:
No one respects personal space anymore.
People really do change diapers in their seats instead of going to the restroom.
There's not enough germ ex in the world to make me want to go back.
Parents don't teach manners to their kids anymore.
I could make people watching an Olympic sport.
When an elephant uses the bathroom in front of a 4 year old be prepared to talk about it. A lot.

I'm sure we'll go back for many years to come. I'll just be more prepared next time!

The Little Mermaid

GG and pops took o to the youth production of the little mermaid at the Strauss theater. She LOVED it.

They ran into shelley and avie!

I think she had a crush on Sebastian. She talked about him for days!

Mardi Gras!

We attended the Ruston Mardi Gras ball this year and it was a lot of fun! I do love dressing up! We danced the night away!

O's school had a mardi gras parade. Her class was the Krewe of red, white and blue.
