This morning before work. Clearly I need to ALWAYS put lipstick on before leaving the house. And o doesn't love to be photographed apparently. But oh we'll! I hardly ever get a pic with my baby girl so I'll take what I can get!

Last night I went to dinner with a friend and when we left I saw santa's sleigh in railroad park. Of course I needed a pic. After doing it we were walking back to the car and saw couple sitting in their car. I realized they were probably laughing at me!! Oh well! It is fun to do crazy things every once in a while! (not that this was very crazy but u know what I mean!)

A funny thing o said yesterday.... she was playing with an electrical socket so I swatted her hand and told her no. She looked at me and said, stop hitting me mama!

Thanksgiving, Christmas decorations & WAC champs!!

Sit back and relax. This is going to be a long one with lots of pics! We left Wednesday abt 3:30 and headed to Winnsboro. Olivia was so funny all night long and had me, mom and dad all rolling laughing. Some things she says are just too funny. Mom told dad that we weren't that funny and he replied that we prbly were but they were just too tired to notice! Thurs morning we had our traditional big breakfast with Jenny and John and then dinner with the rest of the fam.

Her first "mimosa".

Thursday night mom and the 3 J's spent some quality time together and went to Vicksburg for some black Friday shopping. Then some sister time with Jenny and Jackie. We shopped all night long. I got in bed at 6:15 am Friday morning!

Friday afternoon (after a much needed 6 hrs sleep) I, with Jenny's help, got all of my christmas decor up.

It's not totally Christmas but I love it anyway.

O's tree. I'm going to add one ornament a year until she tells me to stop.

And today... Tech won the WAC championship!! It rained the ENTIRE day but that didn't stop us from having a grand time! Congrats to the bulldawgs on a great season! Sure wish Santa would bring me a trip to San Diego!!

Proud to be a bulldawg

After the very impressive comeback win last Saturday I declared this week "proud to be a bulldawg week" at the Hamby household. Olivia sported tech gear this week to daycare and we attended the lady techster game last night. If her reaction to champ is any indication of what Santa is gonna be like I'm gonna need backup! Oh!! At the game last night she was yelling something to the effect of "go dawgs" and then she looked at me and said "I too loud mama." I assured her it was fine to yell at sporting events and the she was happy! It was so funny! I'm not sure who tells her she's too loud but I assure u I have one of the most soft spoken kids. EVER!

give thanks

once again, i did a thanksgiving card this year in place of a traditional Christmas card.  (if you haven’t gotten yours yet i’m sorry for the spoiler!)  this was last year’s.  this year i found an awesome quote to use but sadly i couldn’t get my 2 year old to cooperate for an accompanying photo so i’m saving it for next year!  :)

Haircut # 2 (3 technically but who's counting?)

O had a hair appt for sat but when Adrianne called saying she'd squeeze her in this afternoon I jumped on it. It was time. Her hair is fine like mine which equals stringy. We cut abt 2 inches and I'm afraid we said goodbye to the curls forever. It appears it will always be wavy but I think the curl is gone. So sad.

Picking out her sucker.

Not so sure abt this!

Finishing touches.

Thanks Adrianne for always doing a great job!!

Beach trip

What a relaxing long weekend. We left on Thursday at noon and got home Sunday night around 8:30. We ate, napped, shopped, ate, walked the beach, played mini golf, ate, napped, played skeet ball, and ate some more! The beach in november is amazing! It was so good to get away and to think about nothing! These trips are few and far between for me so I take full advantage when I can. :) On our way home we detoured through baton rouge and had lunch/watched the end of the saints game with Lauren and JW. It was so good seeing them and catching up! I'd sum it up as a successful trip.

Not very busy in November!

Legacy park and Halloween in the tonk

Tuesday's have become mom's day with o. She picks her up early from school, they have lunch, nap and then play all afternoon. O has really started to look forward to these days. Today they went to chili's and o has her first corn on the con. Then to legacy park. I haven't been there yet but from all accounts it is a top notch park!

Tonight mom went with us to Halloween in the tonk. Rett met us there and o had a blast dragging him and gg around that room! Hillary and Reynolds also met us there! And she finally got some candy!

Bean bag toss. This guy was so patient with her.

Candy walk at the KD booth.

Face painting by the "black modeling troupe". Once home O stood in the mirror and repeated pretty rainbow on my cheek. So precious!
