Bayou country superfest

My all time favorite song is Reba's fancy. I'm not sure why but I just love it! Then there's George Strait. The king of country music. I don't listen to country music anymore but man I used too. Back in November the line up for this year was released. I knew I had to go. The chance to see Reba perform my very fav song and the king of country all on one night. That was some childhood dreams come true!! It. Was. Amazing. Wouldn't trade that experience for much more that's for sure! Brittany and I left early and had lunch in BR before heading to the stadium. Matt and Johnny came just in time for the show. Fun times had by all!








She did fancy last as an encore which I learned is how she ends all her shows. In a red dress to boot!!


And boy did this man not disappoint. He is good looking and can sing!

Sweet summertime

The pool is ready!! O has swam everyday for nearly a week and is loving it! We eat the majority of our meals on the patio that is 100% shade 100% of the time. I get home from work, o jumps in, I fix dinner, we eat and she jumps back in until bath time. Needless to say bedtime is a breeze!

Pre-k graduation

It was a GREAT year at LPECC and we will certainly miss that place. I can't say enough awesome things about this school.

O is FIVE!!

I really can't believe it. We took cupcakes to school.





Opened presents after school.


Ate dinner at her choice Hot Rods.


And had dessert at her choice orange leaf.


And spent the rest of the evening at the park. It was a great day!!


Her party was the following Friday at Skatetown in WM. I didn't get many photos but it was a blast!

May happenings

We've so enjoyed our new house!! We have room to run and play! O had a play date down the road and she is still loving spending her afternoons with Alli and miss taylor.














We celebrated Mother's Day low key style. Church, lunch with just us and then Matt's parents came over for dinner.
