Disney on ice

My gift to Olivia for her 4th birthday was tickets to Disney on ice: dare to dream. It was Tiana, Cinderella and Repunzel. I knew she'd love it. I was so right!! We started with lunch at Posado's bc we had to celebrate cinco de mayo! Then on to the show. She got to pick one souvenir. She chose an Ariel doll. $26 for a glorified Barbie. Sigh. Once seated she decided she wanted a light up spinning wand. She buttered up Matt real good. $22 later she had a wand and he had a hug that I was jealous of. Now. The performance. OMG. AMAZING. I teared up multiple times. She smiled/laughed/clapped the entire time. Matt said it was cheesy but what does he know?!? And then at the end when every Disney princess ever brought to life came out with their respective princes in their "ball" attire (bc o asked why they weren't wearing their real dresses) we both got chill bumps. Olivia waved and grinned and they waved back (just to her :) ) and you'd have thought she'd just been granted her greatest wish of all time. All this to say that it was the best birthday present I could have ever dreamed of for her and I'm so glad I did it. And I'm so thankful it worked out that they were coming close by so close to her birthday!

This is one performance that I know I'll never forget and I have a sneaking suspicion that o will talk about it for a long time!
