olivia’s 2nd birthday party!

today was great!  it started off pretty chilly but ended up being just warm enough to enjoy being outside!  we had o’s party at trinity and that’s probably the best decision i’ve made all year!  natalie did a great job on the invitations! before the party o got to play with her new kitchen!  this thing was a BIG hit!  she and gg played before the party and then o played with it from the time we got home until she went to bed! we ended up moving the party from the gym to the playground b/c the gym was suppose to be under renovation.  turns out the contractors couldn’t start yet but i decided to keep it on the playground.  despite the chilly temps i think it worked out better!  we had this sign directing our guests away from the gym and to the playground.  and then the back was our good-bye to our guests.  i’m not sure anyone saw these but i tried!   o got some good playtime in before her friends arrived! and then the party started.  even the cat in the hat came!  

after playing for a while we moved into the wharf (youth area) for cake and presents! 

donna at sweet treats baking did the cookies and then we also had goldfish (to represent the fish in the book.)          i know olivia had a BLAST and i hope her friends did to!  i also need to thank my aunt linda for making o’s dress!  i just love it!  :)
